Spectator’s DVR-ELE is the new and improved successor of the entry DVR SP-DVR-LE series. Apart from a new look the new ELE range comprises major improvements in specifications and functionality. Some of the important changes in this new series are the dual stream video compression engine, 4CIF recording features and a complete renewed Graphical User Interface. The new jog shuttle offers a user friendly interface for local control.
The new ELE series DVR’s are based on dedicated hardware, using the powerful TI DaVinci processor for the video compression tasks and a reliable embedded Linux Operating System. The OS and system firmware use a flash memory and are independent of the status of the HDD.

Thanks to the S.M.A.R.T. technology the HDD’s are continuously monitored. Only one HDD is active while other disks are in sleep mode. It is now possible to create HDD-groups, video files can be locked to prohibit overwriting, and disks can be configured for redundant storage.

The Spectator ELE series are pre-configured for connection to a SSC (Spectator Service Center) to provide enhanced functionality of video alarm verification of incoming alarms at the SSC, remote control of PTZ functions and 2-way audio interaction. In addition remote services like Virtual Guarding, Virtual Gate keeping and VOaaS (Video Observation as a Service) are deliverable using this series of DVR’s.
