Spectator Solution demonstrated to Qatar MOI & Civil Defense

Consolidated Gulf Co., our partners in Qatar hosted a delegation of senior officials from the Qatar Ministry of Interior and Qatar Civil Defense on Wednesday the 9th of June 2010. The latest version of the Spectator ”SYROS” solution was demonstrated to the delegates. This new version now incorporates the intuitive automated call routing functionally which will enable the usage of the Spectator SSC solution in Qatar for monitoring Security Alarms as well as Fire Alarms reporting in to the CAMS solution. Civil Defense operators will now see only the fire alarms and the MOI officials will have the option of seeing Security Alarms only or both Security & Fire alarms.

The Syros Video Verification solution was also demonstrated to the officials. This solution enables the operators to receive CCTV live video footage from the alarming locations automatically when they are handling an alarm incident. This will assist the operator in making a proper assessment of the situation, be it a security incident or a fire incident, before mounting the appropriate response to prevent escalation of the incident and reduce the risks to life and property including potential for collateral damage.
