Waterway protection

‘The Juliana waterway is small and quite busy with cargo ships. There is a small harbor in which a grind classify installation is operating. Big ships come in and leave to load grind from this machine.

Unfortunately, the ships entering and leaving the harbour can’t see the waterway consequently it’s difficult and dangerous to go in and out.

Spectator was asked to install a camera at both sides of the bridge to observe the waterway. The images from these cameras are transmitted to the grind classify installation, which is now able to safely coordinate traffic movements by radio contact with the ships.
